General OT Services & Assessments
Phoenix Therapy Services OT’s provide general and ongoing therapeutic supports to people with a wide range of abilities and across all ages. We love working with little people and their families as well as adults. Primarily our clients will have a diagnosis which impacts on their physical function, with our OT service provision usually focussing on assistive technology and environmental adaptations to assist people achieve increased independence in all areas of their life. We are also proficient in functional assessments and other formalised assessments and reports.
How We Can Help You
General OT services can be provided within the home environment, school environment and clinic based appointments at suppliers – we do not have a premises and provide our services in the community setting. OT service provision involves meeting with you or your child to determine current goals and priorities and complete a comprehensive assessment of function. It then progresses to trials of appropriate equipment, quoting / scripting appointment, assistive technology application and liaison with NDIS and other funding bodies. Once the equipment arrives we take great pride in our thorough approach to ensuring a good fit of equipment for you and customising features where necessary to ensure it is the best possible set up for you.
